Mom’s Magic

Mom worked her magic again.

Yesterday, she cooked up a delicious lunch.

Pot Roast…Egg Noodles with Fried Garlic…Auntie Kay’s Parmigiana Chicken…Chicken/Potato Salad…Leche Flan

We also had a tasty green salad with Cookwell & Company’s Crushed Peppercorn Vinaigrette and the ever popular lumpia made by “Tita Janet” (don’t really feel a need to roll lumpia much anymore thanks to some very tasty ones we can order frozen or freshly fried from Tita Janet).

I’ll be back in a couple of days to post recipes from that luncheon.  I thought I’d already posted the roast and potato/chicken salad but I was wrong.

I do have to apologize in advance for being unable to provide proper measurements as Mom has always made these on the fly (in other words, taste-testing) to get them just right and as such, I’ve learned to do the same.  But for those of you who’ve had Mom’s versions, hopefully you have the tastes in your memory.
